A magnificently restored turn of the century grand dame, with period bronzes, porcelains, and wonderful portraits, landscapes, and still life framings abounding. We stayed in the Garden Suite, with a modern bed draped in lace, a claw foot tub, and antiques all around.

Featuring 12 ft ceilings, the large and airy space has a view of the house grounds and plenty of natural light streaming in from windows on three sides of the room. The unique quarter-canopy king size bed features a luxurious Stearns & Foster mattress adorned with 100% cotton linens and a light-weight duvet in consideration of that classic Southern weather.
The antique furnishings and vintage décor are complemented by convenient modern highlights like a 55″ Smart TV, an adjustable speed ceiling fan, dimmable lighting, and extra plug-ins to ensure easy device charging.
The large private bathroom features an original clawfoot tub with detachable sprayhead and surrounding curtains if you prefer to shower instead of enjoying a soak. The bathroom’s cozy water closet allows for extra privacy between travel companions.
Thanks to adjoining doors, the Garden Suite is a great option for groups to choose in conjunction with Traveler.
